Eye on Perspective with Murray Van Halem

Creative Nomad Studios is pleased to bring you Eye on Perspective with Murray Van Halem. Murray is a Canadian landscape artist and portrait painter working in oils. A graduate of Montreal’s School of Modern Photography, he began his career as a large-format commercial photographer and worked as a photojournalist, portrait photographer, magazine editor, writer, and real estate broker. Murray now explores light, form, and space through paint.Workshop OutlineIn this landscape painting workshop, Murray will demonstrate and discuss some of the basic elements in painting that help create a better result for the painter.  It will include an emphasis on Perspective, a subject often misunderstood and difficult for many painters.   Murray will also introduce a variety of tools that will help keep the painting lines moving in the correct direction.There will be a break for lunch during this full-day workshop. You are welcome to bring lunch with you or pop out to one of the many local cafes to pick something up.
