Pottery Ornaments with Shiralee Pottery

Get into the holiday spirit and join us for an ornament making workshop guided by local artist Danielle Skentzos (Shiralee Pottery). You will make and decorate up to 8 handmade ornaments which will then be fired and ready for pickup before the holidays.Bio:Danielle Skentzos grew up on a farm in Oro-Medonte and founded Shiralee Pottery to share her functional work. Her pottery is inspired by the beauty of home and her love of a craft that keeps her hands in the dirt. Danielle’s forms have clean lines and subtle glazes that beckon to be held. Our current hours are Monday - Friday 9 am - 5 pm.** Vaccination Requirement **As of September 22, 2021, Participants will need to be fully vaccinated (two doses plus 14 days) and provide their proof of vaccination along with photo ID, as per the Government of Ontario regulations.Individuals who cannot receive the vaccine due to medical exemptions will be permitted entry with a doctor’s note until recognized medical exemptions can be integrated as part of a digital vaccine certificate. Children who are 11 years of age and younger and unable to be vaccinated will also be exempted from these requirements.Individuals can provide proof of immunization by downloading or printing their vaccine receipt from the provincial booking portal, or by calling the Provincial Vaccine Booking Line at 1-833-943-3900Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made 7 days, or more in advance of the event date will receive a 100% refund. If a cancellation is made 7 days to 48 hours in advance, a full credit toward another class or event will be issued to your account. A credit will not be issued to cancellations made within 48 hours of the event, but you may transfer your ticket to a friend. If a class or program is canceled or postponed, we will offer a full refund.
