Kids Art resumes on January 25th! We are thrilled to announce that this session will be taught by Deby Melillo who has curated a terrific arts program that will introduce kids to abstract art, sculpture, printmaking, watercolours, drawing, and more. Kids will be encouraged to freely explore a multitude of mediums with a new project each week.The winter session runs for 8 weeks on Wednesday evenings from 5:30 - 6:30 PM from January 25th - March 22nd. ( No class on March 15th during March Break )Ages 7 - 10. ( Kids who will be turning 7 by the end of the school year are welcome to join this class. )About the instructor:Deby Melilo has a joyous view of life and freedom which is felt when viewing her work. What began with paper and ink doodles has evolved into an instantly recognizable style of interpretive abstract pieces that highlight her intuitive sense of colour and pattern. You will be captivated by Deby’s beautiful swirls and patterns just as much as her vivacious and creative spirit.Although new to Orillia, Deby is deeply immersed in the local Arts Scene. She is an active member of the Orillia fine Arts association and shows her work in many local galleries, namely Hibernation Arts, Peter Street Fine Arts & the Orillia Opera House.
